About Esther

After completing her undergraduate education at Cornell University (BA Government and BSc in Urban and Regional Studies), she traveled to Hebron to volunteer as an English teacher for two months. There, she met a wonderful Palestinian woman, whose work inspired her to commit to humanitarian endeavors in the West Bank.

She is currently interning at an Arab research center. In October 2012, she will be matriculating at Oxford University for the MPhil in Development Studies.

When not on the road or studying, she likes to run around Haifa’s hilly roads, play Chopin on the piano, feed homeless cats, and have a cup of coffee with her neighbors.
